8 x IN-12B Nixie Tubes
8 x 16K Resistor
1 x NodeMCU ESP8266 module
10 x IC Socket
10 x TPIC6B595 High voltage shift register
2 x 1000 uf Capacitor
1 x lm7805 voltage regulator
1 x Blue LED
1 x 12v to 200v high voltage module

He did some really good work, but we are going to make some modifications and push the design a little further!

So lets look at what we need to get started building the rovers drive chassis!


Planetary Rover – Challenge Accepted


And so it begins with two simple words, Challenge Accepted! This is going to be a long curve of a project, have me deep diving into a lot of topics I have never looked at before. I dont know if I will be successful but I am going to have a lot of fun doing it!

The challenge is to create a rover, similar to the mars rovers, the will have to operate, collect scientific information, explore it’s environment and report back daily.

This will need to manage it’s power systems, find ways to charge it’s batteries, and survive the elements without human interaction for an entire year!
